Cancer Survivorship & Menopause

Cancer treatment saved your life. But it also changed your body in ways no one warned you about.

The hot flashes. The sleepless nights. The weight gain. The brain fog. The feeling that you woke up in a body you no longer recognised.

The good news? You don't have to accept this as your new normal. I help women recover from cancer- and treatment-related menopause with evidence-based, survivorship-informed care tailored to their medical history.

Built with particular expertise for breast cancer and gynaecological cancer (ovarian, endometrial, cervical) survivors, and survivors of other solid tumours where survivorship support is indicated.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You finished treatment. Everyone celebrated. You were told to get back to normal. But your body had other plans.

You are not imagining it. Unlike the gradual transition many women experience over several years, your body may have been forced into menopause almost overnight. Your body didn't have time to adapt. Neither did you.

And if doctors have told you “everything looks normal” while you know something isn't — that experience is real, and it deserves to be taken seriously.

Will I Ever Feel Like Myself Again?

Woman in her late thirties smiling gently in soft natural window light

I hear this question almost every week. While every woman's journey is different, many symptoms of cancer- and treatment-related menopause can improve with the right combination of nutrition, movement, sleep support, symptom management, emotional wellbeing, and survivorship-focused care.

Imagine sleeping through the night again, having the energy to enjoy your family, exercising without feeling depleted, and feeling at home in your body again.

The goal isn't to return to who you were before cancer. It's to help you build a strong, healthy, confident life after it.

You're more than a survivor. You're still a woman with dreams, relationships, ambitions, and a life you want to enjoy.

Meet Dr. Sulbha Arya

I'm Dr. Sulbha Arya — an oncologist, hormonal health specialist, and cancer survivorship coach.

For more than 15 years, I've cared for women through their cancer journey. But over time, I noticed something that medicine wasn't talking about enough.

Women would complete treatment. Their scans were reassuring. Their blood tests looked acceptable. Yet months later, many would return saying: “I don't feel like myself anymore.”

They weren't worried about cancer. They were grieving the loss of their energy, confidence, sleep, relationships, memory, sexuality, and identity. Medicine had successfully treated the disease. But many women were still struggling to recover their lives.

That's why I created StrongER — to give women the support I wished existed after cancer treatment. A place where survivorship is about more than being cancer-free. It's about reclaiming your energy, your confidence, your relationships, and your quality of life.

Medical credibility

Why Work With an Oncologist Who Specialises in Hormonal Health?

Many professionals understand menopause. Many doctors understand cancer. Very few specialise in both.

Because survivorship isn't only about living longer. It's about living well.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

No. StrongER works alongside your oncology team. It complements your cancer care and focuses on improving your quality of life after treatment.

Yes. Many women I work with cannot or choose not to use hormone therapy. StrongER focuses on evidence-based, non-hormonal strategies tailored to your medical history.

Absolutely not. Your cancer treatment remains under the guidance of your oncology team. StrongER is designed to support you while working safely within your existing treatment plan.

Typically 12–16 weeks, delivered virtually through personalised 1:1 coaching and medical guidance.

A genuine 30-minute conversation — no sales pitch. We review your history, your symptoms, and decide together whether StrongER is the right next step.

That's exactly why the Discovery Session exists. There is no obligation to join. You'll leave with greater understanding of what's happening in your body and whether StrongER is the right fit for you.

You don't need a referral. Whether you completed treatment recently or several years ago, if menopause symptoms are affecting your quality of life, you're welcome to book a Discovery Session. StrongER complements — not replaces — your oncology follow-up.

StrongER provides education, lifestyle guidance, and survivorship support. It does not replace your oncology, gynaecology, or primary medical care. Any medication decisions remain with your treating physicians.
